GIRL SCOUTS START YOUR ENGINES!! Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is
excited to host a series of Pinewood Car Qualifier Races leading up to
this summer's GSWPA Grand Prix Event in June thanks to a brand-new
racetrack sponsored in part by Pinewood Pro in Pittsburgh. Who's ready
to race their pine car down the track towards Girl Scout glory and
roar on their Girl Scout Sisters?
This race is one of
five qualifier races that will be held throughout council leading up
to this summer's council-wide Grand Prix. Winners from each race will
receive a special discount to participate in the June event. Girls
interested in participating in this summer's GSWPA Grand Prix can also
qualify in any locally held races hosted by SUs or Troops. All winners
from local races will also receive the special Grand Prix
discount.
Included in the Confirmation Letter in your
MyGS Account will be information regarding Pine Car Regulations that
will be used by GSWPA and where to purchase kits for participants who
do not already have cars from a GSWPA Pinewood Car Building Workshop
or who want to build a new car.
***Adult supervision for
the duration of the event is required. Girls must attend with a
parent/guardian or troop leaders (following ratio). No tagalongs
permitted.***
